From Bleached Bones

John Lee's Illustration Blog
On the way back from Richmond, Neil Bramlette from Out of Step Arts dropped us a line and told us to visit him in Bristol since it was on our way. We had met briefly at Spectrum in KC, and had kept in touch since then.
Out of Step Arts is Neil’s brainchild that is a really cool hybrid of artist collective and representation. Neil works with each artist individually to cater to their specific needs—for example, he might travel to a convention to sell prints and originals for one artist, while arranging a gallery show for another.
The stable of artists in Out of Step reads like a Dream Team roster: Toby Cypress, Ming Doyle, Greg Ruth, etc. Neil has assembled quite the collective in the short time that they’ve been operating. Keep an eye out; he’s got some cool plans on the burner.

ALSO: he totally cooked us lunch! What? Southerners are the simply the nicest people ever.
