A few more sketches that didn’t make my last post regarding Spectrum, plus a few sketches from video stills- an exercise that I’m picking up for compositional studies
Those top doodles are funny names from towns in Arkansas and Missouri that we passed on our way to Kansas City. No offense to the fourteen people who might be from these places, but come on: Knob Knoster, Festus, and Boonville are just gold.
One of my students, Terri, rode with us, and the little respect she might have had for me probably bottomed out after the first ten miles. Pretty sure we laughed for 8 hours straight, all the way up and all the way back.
And also, I think she has a blackmail video of us singing and dancing to N’Sync, which she sneakily filmed from the back seat. Terri, you get an A++, now please delete that file.
